Since 1888
Established as Hamilton Wire Company in 1888 and known as New York Wire throughout the 20th Century, IWM has a strong tradition of producing low carbon & stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and commercial bronze woven wire mesh and fine wire for industrial and consumer products. IWM is credited for engineering the first looms capable of weaving wire mesh in the United States and patented the process of electro galvanizing wire mesh for increased life cycle.
IWM produces its fine wire at its 55,000 sq. ft. facility in York, Pennsylvania. IWM has over 215,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space dedicated to the production and fabrication of woven wire mesh products in our Hanover and York, Pennsylvania, production facilities. IWM’s Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 Certified, ensuring continued excellence in product quality that our customers find synonymous with IWM International.
